![]() | Donetta Batson, Legal SecretaryAs Legal Assistant to Eugene Rosner, Esq., since 2003, Donetta assists with the matrimonial cases, estate planning cases, and Estate Administration litigation. She is also involved with other projects such as intakes of new clients, calendar scheduling, etc. She graduated from Essex County College, Newark in 2001 with an Associates Degree in Legal Assistant Studies, and is an active member of the National Association of Legal Secretaries of the Essex-Union County Legal Professionals Association. ![]() | Fay Fink, Financial ManagerAs Financial Manager, Fay maintains and manages the financial information for the Firm. She is in charge of all the “back office” work that enable a firm to run smoothly: banking, accounting, record keeping, ordering supplies and equipment, administering the employee benefits program including the 401k pension plan. She also manages the Firm’s trust accounting records in accordance with the Office of Attorney Ethics regulations. Fay has been here from the beginning. She joined her husband Stanley Fink as his bookkeeper when he opened his first law office in 1965; and has been on staff continuously since. She was the Office Manager until January 2005 when she assumed her current position. Active in the community, she is a past president of the Clark Jaycee-etts, and the current president of the Clark Scholarship Fund which awards college scholarships to Clark residents. Fay is a graduate of Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio.

![]() | Linda Kappes, Fiduciary AssistantAs the Firm’s Fiduciary Assistant, Linda manages multiple client accounts for estates and trusts, making sure all bills are paid on time. She also assists the Medicaid Assistant and Probate Paralegal contacting insurance companies, banks, and stock companies. Linda graduated from Union Catholic High School, Scotch Plains, in 1982, where she studied business and art. She earned a certificate in computers from the Academy Business School and then gained office and law experience for a several years before staying at home to raise her children. In her volunteer time, she is currently an officer of the Carteret High School Band Parents’ Association.

Ershow-Levenberg, Esq., Tiffany manages the Social Security Disability cases and provides secretarial support for litigation on various guardianships and administration cases and conducts initial interviews of new clients. Tiffany’s legal experience extends over 15 years since graduating from Linden High School in 1992 as a Business Honor Roll student. She attended the Business Co-Operative Education Program which included working part-time as a Legal Assistant at Schering-Plough Corporation, and obtained her Legal Office Specialist Certificate in 1993 from The Cittone Institute, Edison. She worked as an Assistant Legal Secretary in Personal Injury Law for ten years and then moved her area of specialization to Elder Law when she joined Fink Rosner Ershow-Levenberg, LLC in 2003. She is an active member of the National Association of Legal Secretaries and the Essex-Union County Legal Professional Association.

Katsikis, Office AdministratorWith over thirty years experience in the legal field, Judy’s dedication, and professionalism over the past fifteen years enabled her to rise in our Firm to her current position. As office administrator, she is responsible for case file management, computer and communications systems, and hiring and supervision of all the Firm's support staff. Judy has met the criteria and eligibility standards of the National Association of Legal Assistants. She has extensive paralegal training and experience in the area of Elder Law that encompasses asset preservation in the context of estate and nursing home planning, with particular expertise in the Medicaid application process. Well known to many throughout Union County, Judy creates the family atmosphere that makes so many clients feel at ease with our attorneys and staff.

![]() | Jean Zimmer, Legal SecretaryJean started with the Firm in July 1999 and currently assists all the attorneys with scheduling appointments, as well as monitoring all guardianship proceedings. A graduate of New York City Community College with an AAS degree as a legal secretary, she worked in the legal field for many years prior to joining us. She is an active volunteer in the community and is known as "a terrific baker." Jean sits on the Board of Directors of her synagogue and assists with the daily operations of the synagogue.

Marie Galante, Legal SecretaryMarie assists all the attorneys in our firm, particularly with preparation of estate planning documents. Her strengths in organization and attention to detail make her an asset to the attorneys as well as our clients. Before joining our staff in September 2002, Marie’s garnered experience working for various components of the judicial, law enforcement and legal system. Her lengthy career included her positions at the Essex County Sheriff's Department and as Court Clerk for the late Honorable Peter Cooper, Judge of the Superior Court in Essex County.

Barbara Heyder, Real Estate AssistantBarbara’s experience as a legal secretary in the Clark area extends over 25 years. She joined our firm in November 2000 as the real estate assistant to Stanley Fink. She quarterbacks all of the real estate purchases, sales, and refinances for Mr. Fink’s clients, and assists him as well with business purchases and sales. A graduate of Westfield High School, she continues to keep current in the real estate field by attending seminars related to this area of legal work.

Laura Ocskay, Medicaid AssistantWhen Laura joined the Firm in 2005 she brought a wealth of experience in Human Resources having worked with various social services organizations. Her responsibilities at Fink Rosner Ershow-Levenberg, LLC involve coordinating the spend-down plans developed by the attorneys, assembling and filing the Medicaid applications, and handling the personal meetings and contacts with Medicaid officials. Laura provides the close, hands-on assistance for our clients which they value so much when dealing with the complexities of Medicaid eligibility. Laura holds a BA in Political science from Notre Dame College in Staten Island. | |
Susan Ozdamar, ParalegalSusan is the newest member of our staff and is one of our paralegals assigned to our Medicaid application files. Her responsibilities include preparing, assembling and filing Medicaid applications for the attorneys. She also monitors and assists the clients as they complete the spend-down process. Susan received her paralegal certificate from Union County College.
